Admitted Error by Scotiabank on my Mortgage

Original review updated by user Aug 11, 2021 Scotiabank admitted to making an error on my mortgage amortization by doubling the amount of interest. Office of President was supposed to investigate 1 1/2 years later no audit completed User’s recommendation: Do not recommend Scotia.

Time waiting for “customer service”.

The time to get through to “customer service” at the Bank of Nova Scotia to make a minor change to an address of a non-personal account was 20 minutes at one customer service number and 10 minutes at the branch. All experiences with this company

The wait times on the phone are horrible, but beyond that, the help is spotty at best. They seem to just want to pass the buck to other people as they transferred me several times, twice to the “wrong person.” I was asking a very simple question, “What’s the payout amount of the loan?”
