Hand held mixer caught on fire

I received this mixer several months ago, as a gift. I have only used it a few times. Yesterday, I was using it, and it literally caught on fire inside the unit, without warning. No smoke, burning smell, or noise; just a flaming fire!

Yes great product

slow cooker for some time the unit is no good the inside has a ceamic bowl i got rid of the unit and kept the bowl can i put it in the oven? thank you Josephine
