No warranty techs in eastern u.s.

CALLED WARRANTY STATIONS IN MY AREA PITTSBURGH PA. SERVICE TECHS SAID RAYPACK HAS NEVER PAID THEM FOR THEIR PREVEIOUS WORK. THEY WILL NO LONGER WORK WITH THEM. User’s recommendation: DONT BUY THEIR PRODUCT.

Premature failure of pool heater

raypack model r336a heat exchanger leaked after two seasons. water chemistry was perfect. raypak acknowledged premature failure but would not even consider any sort of retribution. replacement heat exchanger costs around $650-$1200 dollars for the part only. price gauging at its worst. User’s recommendation: would not recommend ever.
