This company will not return your deposit unless you ask for it. This is considered fraud. Why have regulators not stepped in? Also this company makes it unbelievably difficult to cancel the service. They will claim they didn’t receive a lawyer’s letter even when the lawyer received confirmation. This company must be investigated. Their fees are ridiculously...

They charged me $200 for energy charges on a small apartment that I have not occupied for 2 months. User’s recommendation: Do not use this company.
I sold my condo and was happy that i didn’t have to deal with provident any more. Bought a new condo in other area and found out that the provident serves that building too. For two months now I’m having trouble getting service registered to my name. Never had that issue with any other company in Canada
