We flew to fuerteventura and problems started. We had booked hotel el sultano. The next day we went to this hotel but arriving there in front of a large iron gate which was closed. The money was withdrawn for € 500. Call booking. com what to do? They apologize that unfortunately there is no room in the hotel. They can recommend another hotel. We accepted the offer and went by taxi there. Arriving in a terrible area and hotel apartment type and the price more expensive. We were not satisfied. We call again to do something, because we no longer have the money to rent another. The operator is responsible for taking a loan or borrowing from friends. We leave there again with a gate, a private villa and a closed door. Call what to do? The operator says to contact the villa owner. The owner of the call, who is currently on holiday in the Netherlands and says that he never rents for such a short time, must have at least 7 days. Talked to the host that we should be there for 5 nights. Ok there is no option since already at 22:00. Then he calls the booking again and also says that the keys can be obtained from Robert. We went to the villa and were happy that at least there was a place to spend our vacation. Checking out of the villa still required an extra € 240. There were still 2 days left to spend the night. When booking I book a hotel surfing color there I pay again 156 €. The conclusion is that I have paid more for hotels than planned and the vacation was not successful.
