Tense situation at the point of injury is not resolved
The afternoon and evening of January 26 was a real nightmare for pedestrians (at least in LimbaZhi and Bendigo) - the pavement was covered with ice and even a careful pedestrian could fall. It also happened to my wife, who fell in LimbaZhi, broke her arm and was taken to Bendigo Hospital by ambulance (thanks to the team that provided first aid!). Dr. Tip was working at the injury point and did his job well as much as possible - thank him for that! But the evening was really heavy - there were about a dozen acute patients - gk with limb injuries. There was also someone approx. The 9-year-old boy, who was brisk but could not control the tears of pain, was pregnant, there were other PEOPLE with their pain. And during this stressful time, the doctor was called to surgery! I have no doubt that the operation was urgent and the presence of a doctor was necessary. My question and misunderstanding is something else - was the situation really not critical enough for the hospital administration to get involved and a second surgeon / traumatologist to be called to the hospital?! I understand - part-time work, additional costs, etc. But we are talking about people who did not receive the necessary acute help for 6 hours or more. My wife was brought in around 5pm, but the procedures ended after 11pm and she was one of the first in line! Thanks again to Dr. Tip - but he also needed to relax a bit after the operation! My question and misunderstanding is something else - was the situation really not critical enough for the hospital administration to get involved and a second surgeon / traumatologist to be called to the hospital?! This complaint is not about the medical staff of Vidzeme Hospital - thank God, until yesterday I had only a positive experience in contact with it. This is more of a messy system.
