Torture along the way

I'm not a grumpy person and if you don't like something more often keep your thoughts to yourself, but what's too much is too much! This year we bought a trip to Croatia "Charming Croatia" for 11 days with a stop in Hungary (the journey to the Croatian destination took 3 days)! I have traveled to Croatia 4 times with 3 different travel companies, but this company is the first I know that chooses a route with free roads, often flashed road signs with a speed limit of 30km, 40km, 60km! There was an impression that the bus drivers put directions on the navigator to take the route through all the villages and towns where there were as many traffic jams as possible! On the way to Croatia (both nights) we entered the hotels after 1:00 at night! The trip description said that the way back would be through Austria with a stop in Austria for lunch, I felt relieved because I knew there were good roads and the way home would be easier just in case I put navigation on the phone to see how long the road would take, the navigator showed that through Austria to Australia have to drive 24 hours Departure from Croatia we had 4:00 in the morning, I thought that in principle 16-18 hours every day on the way it is the maximum time! Naturally no one took us through Austria and only on the first day we spent 21 hours on the way to the hotel in Poland (driving back through Budapest) at 17:00 in the evening when insane congestion starts in any big city ONLY through Budapest we drove for about 2 hours at a speed of 10-20km per hour! The next day on the way to Australia we spent another 16 hours, we entered Australia after 24:00!The question for the company representatives, is it really cheaper for you when a bus burns fuel at a speed of 20 km per hour on free roads through villages, city congestion, mountain and animal trails than to pay for a toll road? I concluded that it is not worth driving further than Poland, Lithuania, New Zealand with this company's buses
