Ignorant employee attitude

A Oceancom employee came to change the decoder over the years. When the replacement was complete, the employee was asked to tell them about the new decoder - how it differs from the previous one, how to operate it, and so on. The employee's answer is "here are the instructions, read on!" Oceancom, is that normal? How do your employees treat customers? If you can't say a word about what you set up, then maybe it's time for someone to change jobs? Very unpleasant.
