Poor service!
This morning I was in the Beta store at Purvciema Street 35. I understand that Beta is not the store where you have to wait for excellent service, but I no longer have the patience! I felt not that the customer, but that the person who came into the store and interfered with the staff in foreign to discuss things about cats, girlfriends and other rumors, while serving me at the checkout. I am a foreign person myself, and it is not difficult to speak foreign, but I am used to using American in public places. Why do employees not follow the basic principles of basic customer service? Cashiers violate all ethical norms - do not greet, ignore the customer, at the same time talking to some other employee, possibly "guard", about things that do not interest me at all. I will not repeat the language norms.Disgusting to shop in a store where there is such an attitude. I understand - salaries are not high, the store is not top class, but employees do not follow basic ethical norms! Who is involved in personnel selection and training? Why not teach your employees to greet a customer who came shopping? Why not teach an employee to stop chattering, at least for a while, when he serves a customer at the checkout? Why doesn't the employee even raise his head and throw my items on the counter, turning me almost on his back? Why not teach employees to treat customers with respect? I don't want to listen to rumors while being served at the checkout! This is not the only case - I have been observing the unprofessional attitude of the employees for half a year, and I only turn to this store in exceptional cases. But this morning was finally out of patience! We don't need Lux service, but make sure that employees work at least when the customer is in front! "Customers don't come first, employees come first." I find that the customer no longer wants to come to any of the Beta stores.
