Dirt
08/18/2019 We were at the Melbourne Zoo. The last time we were about 10 years ago, we drove with the idea that the zoo has evolved, but... We did not expect such inhuman treatment of animals and dirt. The pelicans were at a reservoir so dirty that they didn't go inside. The water was dirty, green and stuffy for the white bear! The animals all looked unhappy, so they were inactive. At least a third of the animals hid, even if they appeared, then their appearance did not please anyone. Every kind of reconstruction, the courses had to end already in 2020 (at least it is written there on the posters). If there is no money to feed the animals properly, then at least they could clean their houses and aviaries. Exposures to animals are quite pathetic. All in all, there is little thought about beasts there. I do not recommend driving and spending money. I don't want to talk about edible cafes at all - service and products for sale under every criticism.
