opens and verifies the contents of the parcel (via parcel terminal)

Using Australian Pasts parcel terminal, I was sent a surprise gift during the holidays. The "surprise" turned out to be different (for both me and the sender) than the sender had thought: after removing the packet from the parcel terminal, I noticed that the adhesive tape at the long edge of the packet was peeled off, but it didn't raise any suspicions yet. I took 3 things out of the packet, one of them was damaged - the Merci box of candies had half of one edge torn open. Since I didn't know about the contents of the packet before, I called the sender, who said that he had sent these 3 things and that there was still a greeting card in the packet. There were no cards in my open pack. The above and the fact that there is no card show that someone has "itchy nails". Hardly anyone was interested in the card itself. Most likely, Garnadzis probably hoped that there would be some money or a gift card. There is not really any material loss for me, but the bitterness and the sender feel disappointed. I would not recommend choosing something to send by Australian Pasts parcel terminal. There are other alternatives!
