In June/July of 2011, while unsuccessfully looking for the previous company that did my roof cleaning; I came upon this company and after calling them (Owner Albert). After discussing the particulars of my needs, we decided to hire him to pressure clean the roof, walls, and driveway. He showed up with his son and started the process of cleaning. I was at work, but my wife was in and out of the house. At the end of the day (when it was dark), they were done and my wife (unfortunately) paid them, although she couldn't see too much with the outside light. We also paid him another $65 to mildew treat the windows, since he gave my wife a big pitch on that issue. Now, when I returned, I had a bad feeling when I pulled up as I could actually see the edges of the tiles still being black and with mildew. Sure enough, in the morning I saw the confirmation of my concern and was actually shocked to see that there was no more than maybe 5-10% improvement, if that... So, I called him up and he immediately admitted that he should have "tackled" my roof differently and "Maybe used chemicals instead of just water"! At this point, I will say that he was nice enough to come back and work on the roof further. At the end of the day, when I arrived home, it did look somewhat better but I could still see the edges being black. For the next few days, it rained quite a bit so it would be unfair to judge the performance strictly on that basis, without looking at it under the direct sun. The sun finally showed up the following week and I felt the same disappointment as before. In addition to the roof, he had used high pressure on the walls and chipped off parts of my wall, as well as trim. So, I called him again and explained the situation; and he said that my roof was the worst roof he had seen and that's why it didn't turn out optimally. He also said that he would come by at the end of the week and see what he can do. That weekend came by and passed, along with several other weeks, and he never showed up. I called him in-between and tried to remind him that too much time is passing and he's not showing up. I also took pictures of my roof from the back yard angle and e-mailed it to the address he showed on his Website (Still does) during this entire correspondence. He never followed up and I was too busy to keep following up on the same issue. Just last Saturday, March 3, 2012 I called him again. He called back after seeing my number on his caller ID. In the first 3 minutes, he pretended not to remember who I was until he finally "recalled", and after I drilled the case, he magically remembered every single detail! In this conversation, he re-emphasized that he did not use anything but water, because "He is not required to legally". Now, legal or not, how does a "professional" company expect to remove mildew by merely using water, especially if he already saw the water results of the first day's trial? In any case, he claimed that he never got those pictures from back in August and for me to resend them to a new e-mail address. His wife was then put on the phone to give me that address as she claimed that the e-mail address on the site is incorrect! So, I forwarded that old e-mail with a clear explanation that he has the opportunity to fix this issue, and that I will even gladly pay an extra fee for the added labor, as long as I get my results. He never called back and has not returned my follow-up call. Therefore, you are reading about this. I will also make all HOA in my area aware of him and will furthermore create a Facebook page describing this situation, the way it was handled, and the related pictures. This Tuesday, my original roof cleaning company will come back and do the job, and I will post their results (Before and After) on the same page.
