I ordered this portable air conditioner from Lowes and it includes the shipping. No choice in your courier service. You have to go with whoever they have contracted with and unluckily they contracted with UPS. UPS is the worse courier company I ever experienced This is not the first time I have encountered UPS. Anyway, what happened was they gave me a time slot of 3:30 to7:30pm on June 29th, 2021. So I waited and waited I was home all day and then at 5:24 pm they texted me and said they came by and no one was home. I could not believe they came because I was home and no one knocked or anything. I was furious. I called UPS and told them to come at 5:30 pm the next day, June 30, 2021. and don't come any earlier because no one will be home, you know what happened, they came at 10:53 am and just left the air conditioner close to the sidewalk from my house, On top of that, the air conditioner was not even securely wrapped with those wired type straps. it just had an open-end box on top of the appliance. I was appalled, the accessories felled out, luckily I had a dolly and I was able to put the dolly underneath and roll it to the back of my house. I had to rush home from work and move the appliance to the back of my house so that no one can see it. From now on, whenever a merchant says they will be shipping their items with UPS, I have an anxiety attack because I know my items would not be delivered in a nice way. I hope all merchants that use UPS to ship their items would reconsider using FEDEX instead their service has improved 100% .
