Bought a ticket, but then in 2 days received an email that I will have to pay twice as much!

I bought the ticket on Travelgenio on August 10 and received a confirmation email. However, I received another email on August 11 that says that the price of the ticket has changed, and you have to pay more than twice as much now. What is this??? At the time I was booking, the airline had the tickets for a slightly higher price. I booked the ticket on Travelgenio for $246. The airline (Somon Air) had the listed price as $260. Now, there are no tickets anywhere. This was supposed to be my connecting flight and because of this fraudulent company, I have to overpay almost $300 for nothing... They leave me no choice... It's a complete scam! When called customer service, they were not helpful at all! Not listening and just repeating the same things over and over again.
