As a family including a disabled member, the paralympics are of great interest. But the coverage is atrocious. There seems to be a lot of repetitive clips about our paralympians but very little attention to their live performances. The commentators are mildly patronising and rarely seem to have much knowledge regarding the disabilities they are reporting on. There are repeats of interviews with our medal winners but not a lot of focus on their actual competition. In the last hour I have watched possibly 20 minutes of actual competition and 40 of ads and filler material. This is disgraceful and insulting to both the athletes and the viewers. I am incredibly disappointed.
