Warranty misfiled; Rheem did not remedy

In 2020 (probably November), my new Rheem gas pack was purchased and installed. The installed did preliminary warranty registration (5 year coverage) and told me to complete registration for full warranty coverage of 10 years. In late January, I tried to complete registration and my name was not accepted for the serial number. Over the course of the next month, I made 3 calls to Rheem warranty help. My daily records list only two of the calls, February 5th and February 8th. I sent serial number information. I was told to have the contractor update his warranty information. I contacted him. I checked warranty info on February 20th (records) and my name was not accepted. On May 16th, I contacted Rheem directly and about 2 days later received an email stating that although I was beyond the 6 month warranty window, they would fix the registration. When that was done, they would send me an email. I never heard from them again. My unit has only a 5 year warranty.
