Honoring a credit

On July 19, 2021 we scheduled a trip, itineriary number [protected] or GNS49K. Then covid happened. We were told by Orbitz that we had a credit of $1497.96 and had to use it by [protected]. Want to use this credit but unable to get in touch with a customer service rep to get this accomplished. Their wait times are rediculous. Had held upto 4 hours with no results and no return phone calls. I called the airlines in hopes we could get help thru them but was told the reservation was made thru a third party and Orbitz had our money. Have made successful trips with Orbitz before without issues but have a MAJOR one now.
