I have purchased a PRE-PAID PAYPAL MASTER CARD from Wal-Mart around the beginning of April. I called to activate it and because the phone I have doesn't match public record to verify my information, my card was restricted from use and activation. They want 3 different documents uploaded. A state ID /DL, Bill to verify address, and Social Security Card. I am unable to send a copy of my Social Security Card and ID because I had lost my wallet a couple weeks ago and my appointment to get my state ID with the DMV is not until the 3rd week of May because of COVID. However, I did upload my 1099-G tax document for 2020 that has my NAME< ADDRESS< SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER and this is a government document. I uploaded my letters for WV workforce Unemployment confirmation and determination letter extra for verification. They still will not lift the restriction. I even asked if they could activate it for me to use in store only. I loaded $200.00 on this card. and have been thru days and hours of stressful phone calls with Customer Service Reps at Paypal.
