I arrived a few minutes before noon and was informed I had to pay an "Early Check-in Fee" of $10.00. This is on top of the Weeks fee I was charged which included extra charges for the weekend. We have been to many KOAs across the USA an never been charged a fee for early check-in. Also, this is a first to get charged extra for a weekend. I guess the owner of this franchise really takes the meaning of KOA (Keep On Adding) to heart. This is by far not the nicest KOA we have stayed in. The KOA in Durant, OK puts this place in near dump category. We normally stay at a private campground east of Abilene as it is more convenient to our activities, but they were full.
