A GE Dryer was purchased December 26, 2020 shipped from The Home Depot in Atlanta, Georgia. The model number: GTD33GASKOWW; serial number: ZR801633C. The GE dryer stopped working the week of March 26, 2021. A repairman from A&E Factory Service, ticket number: [protected] visited my home April 2, 2021 to service the new dryer. His findings were the dryer was not new, it was to use his term "a lemon" and the model would require service calls. The bottom line, I am without a new dryer, which does not dry clothes only blows out cold air. Even though the repairman was required to order the parts mentioned in the note, because of the Pandemic delivery can take up to 3 months or more. I could more readily understand the need for replacement parts if the dryer was purchased a year or more ago, but it was not. Therefore, not only is this an inconvenience, but GE should make every consideration in this case to satisfy the customer with an replacement dryer.
