I was ripped off.

There is no more of an accurate way to put it. On [protected] I bought a Verizon eTalk flip phone at the Family Dollar in Bay City Michigan. The price of it was clearly marked at $19.95. But when I went to pay for it, the price suddenly jumped to $62.54. I was given the impression that the extra cost was for the activation fee. Turns out, that wasn't the case. As it turned out, I would have had to pay an extra $40 dollars for that. Which would have brought the total to around $100 dollars for a phone that was clearly marked at $19.95 to begin with. But I was told that I would have somehow received the extra $40 dollars extra back. Though that still would have meant paying $62.54 for a phone that was clearly priced at $19.95. I am on Social Security and have trouble making it from month to month as it is. The only reason I paid the $62.54 was because my other phone quit working and I was desperate. But now I have a $62.54 dollar paperweight. And I don't need a paperweight. Is there anything you can do to help me? Such as arrange things so I can return it to where I bought it? I could even mail it to you with the receipt. That would cost a little. But it would be better than being out $62.54 for nothing. Thank you for your time.
