Refused to refund hotel cancellation or to honor cancellation insurance

I made a reservation at Ramada by Wyndham Baltimore West, Aug 11, 2021 - Aug 12, 2021 (Itinerary #[protected]) on Aug. 3. I even bought cancellation insurance. I tried to cancel this reservation within 1 hour, when I read the reviews for this hotel, much worse than I thought, such as complaints of filth and cockroaches. I tried to cancel by phone, but a recorded message warned of very long wait times and that customers should use the website. But the website kept crashing and was unusable. I tried several times over the course of several hours and did finally get my reservation cancelled. But they still charged me for the reservation on my Visa credit card and did not honor my insurance. I have documentation for both the cancellation and the insurance. I am already disputing this charge through my bank, but I want to complain here as well.
