Flight cancelation due to pandemic

To whom it may concern. We purchased 7 tickets to Tampa for April, 2020. Due to the Covid pandemic, our flights were canceled, twice. All information we received stated we had two years to reschedule our flights. After numerous attempts to connect to a person from Delta Airlines, we finally connected with someone named Alfred. He stated that our tickets are expired. This is unacceptable!!! It is our understanding that we had two years to reschedule our flights. Alfred said we only had one year to reschedule. The following information was given to Alfred. We've always been very satisfied with Delta Airlines and this is very disappointing for us. Can you please assist us in either receiving a full refund or assist in rescheduling?
