automatic transmissions without dipstick!!!!!!!

1

not putting a dipstick on automatic transmissions istotally unethical in my opinion. theycall these newer units "sealed", which is fine for new owners, but anything leaks after enough time. and for owners of older vehicles, it's a total ripoff to have to go to a dealer just to check a fluid that should be able to be checked by the user. I understand chrysler is not the only manufacturer to do this, and it really ticks me off, and should bug the hell out of anyone who owns older vehicles. cars have had easy access to fluid level checks forever, and to now design without one is really just another consumer ripoff. 70 to 100 dollars just to check a fluid!!! ripoff
