My sunroof exploded on my 2013 Chrysler 300s on May 28th 2021 in the early morning, so it was definitely not hot yet. I was riding on the interstate to work and I heard a loud pow. I looked around to see if maybe it came from an accident or any vehicles but nothing. I pulled over to median and started to feel glass falling in my hair and clothes, that's when I noticed that my sunroof was shattered. I looked inside my vehicle for any debris and didn't find anything that could have did this. I called 911 and the highway patrol came out and they also searched, we couldn't find anything inside or outside my car that could have did this damage. I called my insurance company and they advised me to take it to a shop. The shop did repair the glass for $300 but this was very frustrating as I had to get a rental vehicle and the glass that was in my clothes cut me up some. and even with the sunroof closed i'm still hearing wind coming in the car as Im sure the bodyshop didn't fix my sunroof carefully. I think we should be warned about sunroofs exploded and I think I should be refunded something just for having to go through all this and miss work and miss up my valuable time.
