well done fajita steak rare.

My sister and I ordered 2 mix and match fajitas with well done steak to go. After returning home to eat to the steak was as chewy add big league gum. Further inspection revealed it was rare. Contacted the manager Shanna Monroe and asked that just the money for the steak be returned and that we would keep the rest because it was actually edible. She offered to make more steak but once yo have to make a complaint can you really trust the next order. Afraid our food would be sabotaged I refused to which Shanna said that all she could do. I then informed her that would not suffice so she offered to give the money back to which I agreed. She placed me in hold than returned saying she could only have a gift card sent to my address. Not trusting her at this point nor planning on going to chili's any time in the near future I informed her that it would be useless to me and at this point I only want the funds returned and would be contacting corporate. She placed me in another hold and a second employee took the line and thanked me for being reasonable and not asking that the whole meal be refunded and apologized for the food and said they would compensate me shortly. Then Shanna returned to destroy the progress made and said she's did not know who took the phone and that she should find out and handle them but it's×× COMPANY POLICY THEY CAN NOT HAND CASH OUT IN THE RESTAURANT AS A SECURITY ISSUE.*** I told her that this is not logical they make cash transactions minute to minute and I found this insulting to my intelligence and advised her I've seen entire refunds for less and that I only asked partial trying to be reasonable and was hurt. I referred to classism as her continued reference to cash being returned implied some sort of impoverishment. Broke my heart and bond with Chili's. Sorry I can't return because cash transactions with me break your security policy. Please tell me something can be done about the manager and this situation.
