We had a sales rep to our home, to quote for 6 windows in our kitchen. The rep was at our home for 2 hours. Granted, the product looked good but the price was an absolute insult. We did our homework before the consultation, so we knew our budget. The cost quoted was $24, 000 for SIX WINDOWS!!! We were offered a ‘buy now' discounted price of $18, 000, if we purchased there and then. We decided this was completely over priced and advised the sales rep we were not going ahead. Andersen called the following evening, at 8.30pm. I answered the questions. The caller constantly asked why I wasn't going ahead, and found my answer unacceptable. I had to politely inform the caller I wasn't interested and didn't care for the tone used. This is not how you win business of a new customer, who has not fully exercised their quotation process. I will for sure, never purchase Andersen Windows based on this level of intrusion and over pricing!!
