I had purchased Tampa Bay Rays Baseball tickets from Vivid Seats a year ago or right before the COVID-19 Pandemic. The games were canceled and instead of giving me my refund, Vivid Seats kept the money and set up a credit that was to perish after Nov. 2021. I found tickets in 2021 I could use the credit for but now the ticket prices were more than double! I didn't want to lose the credits, so I bought the tickets.(original price $114.91 ea) Vivid Seat price ($291 ea.). I purchased 2 @ $291 and Vivid Seats added another $165+ service fee onto it!! Cost over $750 for all ($598 credit + fees) for an event that should have only cost $250 tops! Taking advantage of people and acting as if they are doing a favor with the "BS" credit plus the high fees is criminal at best! NEVER AGAIN... User's recommendation: Buy directly from MLB, NFL or whatever event you attend because once Vivid gets their hands on your money, there is no telling what they will do to keep you from a refund. There is a massive lawsuit against them now and I am hoping they lose their arses over it!!
