Annoyed for holding deposit

I contacted First Progress TWICE regarding my deposit being returned. What is the purpose off withholding monies for that time? The account is closed. Considering it was my second call, some sort of escalation process should be in place ESPECIALLY during the pandemic The company is making money off of my funds sitting there User's recommendation: Release funds 60 data after the account is closed.
