My boss is illegally holding my paycheck

I quit two weeks ago and I need to pick up my last paycheck she refuses to give it to me without my uniform. That I was unaware I needed to give back to get my paycheck I was never told when I was given my uniform that it was on the loan to me and the only way to get my paycheck is to return the uniform I have disposed of my uniform because of the un need of it do to the face.
