On my return flight from Gibraltar to Manchester flight number-EZY1964. We had to divert to Madrid due to a very ill passenger that I helped to keep alive. I would just like to nominate Gemma one of the cabin crew for an award as she was outstanding! She helped me aid the ill passenger and kept everyone calm. The rest of the team were also impeccable and very organised. My only recommendation being as a nurse would be that your flights carry a small portable suction machine for medical staff to use in these emergency situations as I had to try and clear this passengers airway with my hands.
