Off color Miller bottled beer
1
I purchased an 18 pack of Miller High Life on 12/19/20 at Nine to Nine Convenient store in Largo, FL. When I got home I drank a bottle and got sick to my stomach. I looked at the date on the bottle and it's JUL2720. I also noticed that the beer was a darker color than the other ones in my fridge with a good date on each bottle. I took one of the bottles back to the convenient store to either get my money back and/or get a replacement. Knowing how high the bar is for the Miller Company on their quality standards is, as I used to work for a large glass container company, I assumed that there would be no problem getting a refund or replacement from the Nine to Nine Convenient store. Boy, was I wrong. The store would not take the 18 pack of beer back. I was surprised when I thought that the store would surely want to talk with his beer distributor about selling old beer that made me sick. I have always been a big Miller High Life fan but I am going to change to another brand because of this incident. I hope to hear back from you soon. One more thing, the Nine to Nine Convenient store doesn't give you a receipt. The beer was on sale for $13.99. User's recommendation: Make sure you check the dates on the box and bottles before purchasing. And make sure you get a receipt!
