Canceling room/overbooked

We paid for a hotel room and had to cancel due to hotel saying there were no openings. We then tried to cancel and inadvertently cancelled the travel insurance but not the room. If I would have went ahead and selected yes, we would only get a partial refund. We should get the ENTIRE amount refunded due to misinformation on Travelocity site. I expect a full refund! User's recommendation: Don’t use Travelocity to book hotel room as the website may not be current.
