Cancelled flight 234 JFK to BTV on 7/3

I traveled 2236 from PHX to JFK on 7/3. Upon landing, I received an email stating flight 234 was cancelled and was rebooked 24 hours later to depart JFK on 7/4 on flight 234. There were no available agents to help me with alternative accommodations. I was forced to rent a car and drive all night to get back to BTV. I am looking for $438 reimbursement for the rental car expense or your best complimentary free airfare passes.
