Update by user Apr 23, 2021 Nothing.. Original review posted by user Apr 23, 2021 HomeAdvisor (known in this as HA) is definitely NOT a free service. I had to replace a broken window on my house. I contacted them, and they found a contractor. HA charged my credit card $488. This was for labor ONLY. When the contractor showed me what he was being paid, I nearly had a cow! It was less than 1/3 of what I was being charged. This did not include the extra money I had to shell out for materials. The bottom line: HA made over 400% profit!!! Do not use this "free" service. It is definitely a scam. HA no longer stands for HomeAdvisor. It now stands for HalfAssed! User's recommendation: Do NOT use HomeAdvisor.
