No response on a purchase

I'm concerned about this company being legit. I got a confirmation of a my order, but no follow up details about a scheduled shipment. It shows the vendor info and payment to paypal but when checking with vendor they claim the do not have an order from this company and reference number given does not match anything they have. User's recommendation: Be careful.
