Bought "in stock" jack knife sofa online from Gander Outdoors. Charged $700. Site said "shipping in 7-10 days". No contact for 3 weeks, I called, and Gander Outdoors blamed slow service on "no one wants to work at the warehouse". Called after 4 weeks to cancel order, said I couldn't. They wouldn't/couldn't contact warehouse. I started a dispute with my credit card company and ordered a similar sofa from Rec-Pro. Rec-Pro sofa delivered by LTL freight to home in about 10 days after order placed. Week 6 of Gander Order, I was sent a request to rate my purchase from Gander..... Even though I still never received a notice of shipping, much less delivery! This firm needs to go belly-up and stop taking loans from people under the guise of an order for merchandise! User's recommendation: Stay away.
