My new Ruger Custom 1911 Doug Koenig that I paid over $1800 bucks for wont chamber semi wad cutters but my SR 1911 that I paid $250 will. The service tech said; Everybody knows that semi automatic pistols wont chamber SWC ammo. Thats the kinda of service you get when you buy a Ruger. Sales people sell guns, service people keep customers. They lost this one for life. User's recommendation: Don’t bother calling customer service for help with a handgun.
