My .38 special was recalled. Was advised in writing gun would be repaired or replaced and I would be paid $50. Gun was not repairable. It took 9 months to receive a replacement! Had to purchase a $7 permit from local authorities to receive replacement and a $25 delivery fee to local gun dealer. The cherry on top of this debacle - never received my $50!!!!! I guess I should count my blessings. My son was involved in the same recall and he received his replacement quicker, but was given a 2" replacement for his original 4" gun. He did not receive his $50 either. I don't understand how a company feels this is acceptable treatment for valued customers. op word! User's recommendation: Read customer reviews prior to doing business with company.
