I was repeatedly billed for a contract that I terminated in November 2020

Even though I cancelled the contract and paid the cancellation fee in November last year, I kept receiving invoices. Every month it was for a different amount. There was no explanation of what I was being billed for. Recently, I have been contacted by their debt collector, demanding that I pay the bill. User's recommendation: Keep all documents from your service provider. After I ended the contract and paid the cancellation fee, I thought the matter was done and dusted, and so recycled the paper work.
