News Report / Uber Stealing money from consumers through its Uber App.

Hello, name is Eric Culpepper, I am a long time Uber client and Uber App user. On April 11th I awoke to find that Uber stole nearly $50.00 from me on April 10th. Uber stole $24.42 through an unauthorized and un-notified reoccurring payment for UberPass, which I never signed up for and Uber stole more than $25.00 from me that had been sitting dormant in my Uber Wallet, that there is no way to turn off, for two months. This theft caused a dormant bank account of mine to become overdrawn and incur a $35.00 fee on top of Uber's thdft from me. I had absolutely no way to contact Uber about this because it was not linked to any ride that I took with Uber. I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission uder FTC reference number 103280****. Perhap this theft explains the reported recent spike in Ubers business and perhaps this theft is how Uber plans to finance its $250,000,000.00 stimulus for it's drivers whom they've spent years underpaying. User's recommendation: Check Your Uber Wallet balance and make sure that you haven't been signed up for UberPass without your knowledge or consent.
