Credit Card Questions

I closed an L&T account in July, 2012. At that time, the account was managed by Synchrony Bank (formerly GE Capitol). Early this year the L&T account appeared on my Capital One Bank account. Capital One told me to ignore it. L&T was out of business. Now, I am receiving texts from L&T advertising products! I am very confused about any L&T account I may have and how this may impact my Credit Record.
