Water wasting

Filled the washer with water then wanted to switch to heavy duty but it would not let me. I turned the power off only to have it completely empty the washer of water. Could not even stop it it just emptied the water then powered off. Then the water will turn on and off again 30 times while it's trying to fill it. Seriously not worth the money. User's recommendation: Do not buy Whirlpool brand.
