I am writing to request correction of the error in your credit reporting. My account transferred to LoanCare from TIAA Bank February 1, 2021. When my account was transferred from TIAA Bank to LoanCare it was in forbearance. LoanCare sent a letter stating that the terms of TIAA Banks Covid-19 Forbearance Plan would transfer to Loan Care. LoanCare has now reported my account delinquent to the credit bureau! Your website even states that my account is delinquent and also in forbearance. I understand that forbearance prevents delinquency during the forbearance period. I have sent a message to your online customer Communications Department on 2/15/2021. I have also discussed this with Emily at customer service on 02/16/2021. I do hope your team of specialists will resolve this error as quickly as possible. It takes a lifetime to develop good credit and this error is very concerning. Now when I need good credit the most. I am faced with this error even though the forbearance was designed to prevent this. TIAA Bank has been getting many calls about the same error by LoanCare and yet LoanCare has not responded and the credit reporting error has not been resolved. User's recommendation: Watch Out! Very difficult getting through to customer service!
