I had $10,000 in damage done to my house on January 13th, 2021 which my insurance paid us out for. We spoke to Loancare for the first time in February 2nd, 2021 to figure out the process of getting the check endorsed and sent back so we could pay off our credit card from paying the contractors. They have had my check since February 6th, 2021 and every single time I have talked to them (which has been at least twice every other day if not more) I have been given a different story, told different information, been lied to, hung up on, and told I need to provide them with more information. They gave me the wrong address to send my check to (mortgage side instead of insurance side) and it took 4 days and 6 people to figure out what happened. I was told they would work on getting the check transferred to the correct department, but that would take 7-10 business days. 6 days later my check was cashed and applied towards my mortgage. For the next 3 weeks after that no one from either department could tell me where my money was or how to get it to the correct department, they then asked me to provide them with a front and back copy of the check they had for 3 weeks and had already cashed. It is April 26th and I am STILL trying to get my check back so I can pay off my credit card. User's recommendation: Avoid them like the plague. Do business with ANYONE else.
