WG policies are unheard of
I have not even started my gas with Washington Gas but already have problems with their policies and the way they work. I did not have to set up my online account yet but reading the previous reviews I am definitely not looking forward to it. My issue with them is that they set an appointment to start my gas 5 days after I moved in and this is during winter time and freezing weather! I thought that ok, it could be my fault for not calling earlier. But then they told me that on the day of setup, the technician could come anytime between 7am and 5pm and it is up to him to give me or not a courtesy call. This means I have to be in the freezing house for 10 hours straight just waiting for the person on a Wednesday. I am still speechless by this and do not understand who set up this policy (they kept telling me they cant do anything about it because it is their policy). Do not chose Washington Gas if you have a choice!
