I recently canceled my Instant Ink service because the colors were not good no matter what cartridges were being used. I went to my local Staples and purchased new HP cartridges. When I opened the "black cartridge a fountain of ink about 3" high erupted staining both my hands, the front of the dress I had recently made and the floor. I love my printer (6830 Officejet) but I'm not impressed with the ink situation to say the least. I have notified Staples of the problem. I have NOT been able to get the stain off of my dress after following instructions on-line for ink removal.
