Not able to install printer to work

I just bought a HP Laser PRO MFP M28-M31. The color instruction pamphlet is useless. Doesn't even say what symbols mean. I am very frustrated that I am spending time cant get it to work. I spoke to the retailer-wants to sell service agreement User's recommendation: Buy a printer that is plug & play and easy to install.
