Highlghting good service and act of honesty
5
This is not a complaint On 17 February 2021 at around 4pm I visited the KFC Warwick Pinetown( next to Knowles Spar) in Pinetown KwaZuluNatal. I paid in cash with a R200 note. On receiving my order, I drove off almost immediately and forgot about my change which should have been over R150. Half way to home I remembered about the change. The streets were too busy to do a turn around. From home I contacted the branch by phone and spoke to Lindani who promised to investigate and call me back. Within 5 minutes he returned my call and informed me that my order was dealt with by Smangele Mhlathi and that she has my change. I returned the next day, met both Lindani and Smangele and thanked them for their excellent service and prompt and honest actions. On collecting my change, I gave Smangele R50 for her honesty. Not all my experiences of similar events worked as this one did. I have been given the run around on many occasions by all involved with no one owning up to the facts or taking responsibility. So while actions of the two involved could be attributed to the good training that they received and to their innate sense of honesty, I believe that their actions are worthy recognition and praise, I would be greatly pleased if the Head office of KFC contacts the branch and commend the two individuals involved for their actions.
