I needed a receipt for 3 toilets I purchased for a customer for a recall. It seems that with today's technology, it should be possible to get access to this for the very reason that the vendors (American Standard) require a valid receipt for processing a recall. I had the credit card invoice, which they accepted only because of the inability of Lowes to send me a copy. User's recommendation: Make my credit card charge invoices available from an archive system.
